Special Counsel: Meaghan G. Glibowski
New York business and litigation lawyer Meaghan Glibowski grew up in Suffolk County, New York and graduated from Sachem High School. Ms. Glibowski earned her Bachelor of Science degree cum laude from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus. While earning her bachelor’s degree, Ms. Glibowski played on the Division II women’s soccer program. She graduated with honors and had maintained a dual major in marketing and business management. After graduation she worked in business before she decided to attend law school. She graduated from University of Miami School of Law with her education focusing on litigation and commercial law.
Ms. Glibowski has been working with Holman Law, P.C. since 2012. Since she began work at Holman Law, Ms. Glibowski has handled a range of matters in federal courts, New York State courts and in arbitration forums. She has worked with several clients on various issues including business formation, business start-ups, corporate transactions, breach of contracts, employment discrimination, fraud and constitutional litigation.
Currently, Ms. Glibowski is acting Assistant General Counsel for Lane Valente Industries located in Smithtown, New York. Ms. Glibowski continues an association with Holman Law as Special Counsel to the firm.
Experience
Ms. Glibowski has held positions in both New York and Florida law firms. Before joining Holman Law, P.C., she worked with Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. to aid those individuals who could not afford legal services in employment matters. Through LSGMI, she participated in several employment litigations. Ms. Glibowski also worked for H.O.P.E. a program founded by University of Miami School of Law to aid in providing legal services to those without financial resources. In 2012, after she graduated law school, Ms. Glibowski joined Holman Law, P.C. In these eight years she has worked on many of the matters that the law firm has handled ranging from corporate transactions, employment discrimination, breach of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, nursing home negligence and other business matters. In recent Holman Law cases she played a major role in a highly novel and complex lawsuit against the U.S. Government in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., and in a lawsuit brought against public and private utilities pending in the Federal District Court in Columbia, South Carolina. In 2020, Ms. Glibowski became Assistant General Counsel for Lane Valente Industries.
